Talvu CRM for Gmail

Client projects, notes and tasks inside Gmail

Rank 019.6 / 10

Talvu CRM for Gmail keeps contacts, company details, projects, tasks, notes and linked email files beside your conversations. Start with the defaults and add your next action. Save website links, quotes and selected areas to project notes, or find attachments from a project's linked emails.

Save website links, quotes and captures to project notes

Save a page link, selected text with its source, or a cropped area from an ordinary website. Each capture creates a new project note with an optional comment. Quotes allow 5,000 characters and comments 1,000. Confirmed crops are compressed in the browser and kept private.

Find saved material with the All, Manual and From websites filters in Notes or All notes. Source links and images open the original page. The optional button beside selected text requires Talvu 0.1.39 or later and Chrome website permission. You can also capture through the toolbar, context menu or Alt+Shift+S. Gmail and protected Google pages are excluded.

  1. Open Talvu from the browser toolbar on the website. Choose Page, Selected text or Area. For Area, drag a rectangle and confirm the crop.
  2. Select the account and project that should hold the material. Add an optional comment and save. This creates a project note; create a task separately if you need one.
  3. Open the project's notes or Data → All notes to find the entry. Filter by source, open the original page or edit your comment.

What is Talvu?

Start with a contact, project or task. Open a client email, save the person and organize the work around that conversation. Add statuses and custom fields when you need them, or reorder and hide blocks to keep the panel focused on the information you use.

Use Projects to track deals or client work. Each project holds its status, people, conversations, tasks, notes and custom fields. Contacts store company details alongside email addresses, phone numbers and websites. Keep those details together and use tasks to track the next step beside the project's email history.

The Files block lists attachments from conversations linked to a project. Sort the loaded files by date, size or type, download an attachment or open its source email. Talvu retrieves attachments from Gmail without keeping copies on its servers. Files and the attachment list are excluded from the CRM export.

Talvu interface languages

English, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Romanian, Italian, Ukrainian

Change the desktop CRM language in Settings → Language. A saved choice overrides the browser default. Your own contacts, project names and notes keep their original language.

Who it suits

  • People managing client projects, notes and follow-up tasks in Gmail.
  • People who want to save website references directly to a client project.

Notes

Search note text or project names in Data → All notes. Sort by date or group by project to find decisions and references across your client work.

Projects

A project keeps contacts, conversations, tasks and notes together. Add custom fields and arrange its blocks to show the details relevant to that work.

Reminders

Turn a saved note into an email reminder. Talvu shows it beside matching new incoming messages until you mark the reminder done.

How Talvu works with Gmail

Open a conversation in Gmail and choose General to see its tasks and linked projects. Open a project or task to review the details, then record the next action while reading the email. General follows the conversation you select.

Link an exact email address to a project to capture future correspondence automatically. New sent or received mail with that address in From, To or Cc links the conversation to the project. Turning off a rule leaves existing links intact. Link other historical threads manually.

Getting started

  1. Install Talvu in desktop Chrome, open Gmail and connect the same Google account. Review the access request; Google Workspace organizations may require administrator approval.
  2. Create your first project with the default settings. Link a client conversation, save the contact and add a task for your next action.
  3. Add a project note for a decision, reference or detail you want to keep. Change statuses or hide unused blocks as you organize more work.

Files

Find, attach or download files linked to CRM records or conversations. Files may be stored in the CRM, linked from cloud storage or retrieved from email.

Available

Find ordinary attachments from linked project conversations, sort loaded files by email date, size or type, and download a file or open its source in Gmail. Requires an extension version with Files.

Web capture

Save a webpage link, selected text or an area capture directly from the browser into a CRM note or task. Contact extraction, manual copy and paste, and a URL field alone do not count.

Available

The optional button beside selected text requires Talvu 0.1.39 or later and Chrome website permission. Toolbar, context-menu and Alt+Shift+S capture are alternatives. Email sync

Automatically update CRM email activity from new Gmail messages or their metadata, including rule-based capture. Copying message bodies or importing old mail is not required. Manual logging alone is not synchronization.

What to check before choosing

  • Talvu runs in desktop Chrome. It does not support a mobile CRM app or a Gmail mobile add-on.
  • Use a task to record an action and a note reminder to recall a detail when someone emails again. The reminder is triggered by incoming mail.
  • The 14-day free trial includes all features and starts with the first successful Gmail connection. A paid subscription is required afterward. Google accounts keep separate CRM records. When working access expires, synchronization pauses and export remains available.

Talvu: common questions

Can I start without setting up a sales pipeline?

Yes. Connect Gmail and add a contact, project or task using the default settings. Change statuses, fields and block order when you need more detail.

Can I search notes across projects?

Yes. Open Data → All notes and search by note text or project name. Sort by date, group by project or filter for reminders. Each note links back to its project.

Is Talvu free after the trial?

The 14-day trial includes all features and begins with the first successful Gmail connection. Continued CRM work requires a paid subscription. Billing periods change the charge while including the same core features. Export remains available after working access expires.
